KS2 children can go to their classrooms from 8:40am where there are members of staff there to register them.
We would ask that you encourage your child to be independent when coming in to school. It is very important for your child’s development for them to be able to take responsibility for themselves and their own property.
At the end of the day, Year 5 children are collected from the small yard by the main gate. We ask parents collecting children from Year 5 to stand by the wall. We work with a “hands up” collection system. Your child will not be sent to an adult collecting until a member of staff has seen who is there to collect. If someone different is due to collect your child please indicate so in the communication diary.
At least 2 members of the staff will be available at the beginning and end of each day to answer any questions that you may have. Any of the staff will be able to answer your questions or direct you to the appropriate person. If you wish to make an appointment to see the teachers, this can be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to any member of the Key Stage 2 team.
