It’s go time, and where you go matters. At STAC, you’ll find professors who challenge and support you (and actually take the time to get to know you). You’ll find friends who will introduce you to new cultures and ideas, and global experiences that give you access to the world. You’ll find internships that open doors and majors that matter in the real world. Best of all, you’ll find yourself and the person you’re meant to become.
Apply now, or schedule a campus visit.
STAC has a rolling admissions policy, but we encourage freshman applicants to submit as early as possible during the senior year. Our Admissions Team carefully reviews every application considering the following:
- Official High School Transcript
- SAT or ACT Scores (sent directly from agency. Use college code 2807 for SAT and 2897 for ACT)
We'll accept both the new SAT and the old SAT and then compare your scores using concordance tables to determine your highest scores.
- Essay (topics listed on the common application)
- Letters of Recommendation
- Resume of Extracurricular Activities
As soon as we've received your completed application and all of the required materials listed above, the application will be assigned to your counselor for review. We'll review you for academic and merit scholarships as well, there's no separate application needed. You will be updated throughout the process and a final decision letter will be sent about four weeks of our review of your completed application. We are here to help you through the process and encourage you to contact us with any questions. Need to contact your Admissions Counselor? Visit the Meet the Team page.
Freshman applicants are eligible for admission into several Special Programs. The Honors Program and Aquinas Leaders Work Scholarship Program are for high achieving students. The Higher Education Opportunity Program is for New York State residents with academic and financial need. The Pathways Program is for students with select learning disabilities. Each program has specific requirements and criteria and we encourage you to visit those pages to learn more.
You’re not just the sum of your grades. You’re a whole person.
Ready to take the next step? We’re here to support you! When you apply to St. Thomas Aquinas College, your application won’t fall into a black hole or go through computer algorithms to determine your eligibility for admission. Our admissions team carefully reviews each and every application — from grades and test scores to accomplishments and goals. Getting to know you — the whole you — is key to determining the right fit.
