Rubric For Essay Question Grading Rubric

After a learner submits an assessment with manually graded items (essay, short answer, or offline item), course instructors can evaluate these submissions using the grading rubric applied.

To grade essay, short answer, and offline assessment questions with a grading rubric:

  1. Within the course, select the Lessons tab.
  2. Select the assessment with items to be manually graded.
  3. Select the Submissions link in the toolbar.
  4. Select either View, Grade, or Delete Submissions or Grade by Question.

Note: Select View, Grade, or Delete Submissions if you prefer to grade submissions from one user at a time. Select Grade by Question if you prefer to manually grade all users' responses for a single question at a time.
